David Garner - Chairman

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Sitel Worldwide Corp.

David Garner is a graduate of Louisiana Technical University and served four years in the U.S. Army. Following his tenure in the service, Mr. Garner joined Sykes Enterprises, Inc., a leading provider of end-to-end customer care management solutions. During his 16 years at Sykes Mr. Garner rose to the position of Executive Vice President overseeing 65 national and international technical call centers with over 16,000 employees. After leading Sykes in their initial public offering in 1996, Mr. Garner left to form SHPS, a national healthcare benefits outsourcing firm. During Mr. Garner’s tenure as President and CEO, SHPS grew from a concept to over $250 million, operating 7 technical call centers and employing over 1500 people.

In September 2003, Mr. Garner joined Sitel as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, a role he currently fills. Sitel is a leading global business process outsourcer with over 150 locations in 28 countries employing over 65,000 employees worldwide. SITEL provides customer care and complementary back-office processes to many of the world’s best known brands. 


Tom Speed

Chairman and CEO, National Directory Assistance, LLC

Tom Speed is an experienced entrepreneur and businessman. Operating at the CEO / COO level over the last twenty-five years, he has gained unique experiences diversified across several industries including telecommunications, directory assistance, long distance resale, business process outsourcing, overnight delivery, medical device manufacturing, healthcare products distribution, real estate development, as well as all disciplines of sales, operations, finance and corporate oversight.

Mr. Speed has spent his career building value for customers and shareholders. Each investment and career opportunity has been strategically implemented to build companies and product lines with the sole purpose of creating value.

As a member of the Board of Directors and the Management Team, Mr. Speed brings his vast experiences and talents of creating value for the benefit of both the Connected Patients’ customers and shareholders.


John R. Farris

Founder and President, Farris Capital, LLC and Commonwealth Economics, LLC.

John Farris graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Centre College in Danville, KY in 1995 with a B.S. in economics and philosophy.  He later earned an M.P.A. from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs in 1999.  Mr. Farris began his career as an economist at the Center for Economics Research at the Research Triangle Institute and later served as senior economics consultant with the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation.

From 2006 to 2007, Mr. Farris was secretary of the Finance and Administration Cabinet for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, where he oversaw the collection, investment, and distribution of more than $8 billion in annual tax revenue.

Later, Mr. Farris became a Series 65 Licensed Registered Investment Advisor and presides over two successful companies - Farris Capital LLC and Commonwealth Economics LLC.  His research interests include the value of the dollar, the fall of the capital asset pricing model, and the rise of the absolute return. 

Mr. Farris is also a teacher of theory of investments and corporate finance at Centre College.


Scott Roeth

Executive Vice President, 1800doctors Inc.

 Scott Roeth has over thirty years of management and executive experience in the information technology and healthcare industries. His focus has been on strategic planning, product management, marketing, sales, business development, and consulting services.

He began his career with IBM where he held a variety of leadership positions over a twenty year period. His last four years were spent as their VP of the Healthcare Industries. In this worldwide role he was involved with a number of joint ventures and government initiatives.

Mr. Roeth moved to Digital Equipment where he was VP of the US Territory and VP of Worldwide Business Development. From there he held senior executive positions at US Surgical, Solectron, Carehere, and the First Consulting Group. For three years he was the EVP and COO of Emmi Solutions, a web based patient education company. He assumed his current position at 1800doctors in 2007.

He has also advised a number of early stage companies who seek to bring their products and services to the healthcare industry. Scott received his BBA and MBA from the University of Kentucky. He is a UK Fellow and a member of their Bequest Society and Development Council.

Daniel Hollingshead

President and CEO, Connected Patients, LLC

Daniel Hollingshead has over 17 years of clinical and operations-level health care experience. Dan received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Nevada, Reno. He then attended Northeastern University in Boston, MA where he completed certification as a Clinical Perfusionist. Over the next 10 years, Dan managed several highly skilled teams that were responsible for thousands of successful surgical outcomes. During this time, Dan received his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix.

In 2002, Mr. Hollingshead became a Vice President of Operations for a multi-billion dollar healthcare company. In this role he managed a multi-state region with over 100 employees. In 2006, Dan accepted a position as Regional Vice President - Operations at another leading healthcare services company where he maintained full operational responsibility for a multi-state, multi-site region.

Mr. Hollingshead is the founder of Connected Patients, LLC.
